The International and Specialized Placement (ZAV) is responsible for international services within the Federal Employment Agency (BA) and cooperates with numerous high-level national and international partners. Its work focuses on the immigration of skilled workers from abroad and the placement of specialized professional groups.

The WebTutorial focuses in particular on the recognition of foreign qualifications. Most applications in 2024 come from Turkey, followed by Tunisia and India. Hungary has the highest positive recognition rate in 2024 at 95 per cent, followed by Portugal and Libya at 93 per cent each. Sri Lanka and Azerbaijan also have positive recognition rates of over 90 per cent.
