Application open: The Company Award "We for Recognition"

The Company Award “We for Recognition” will be launched for the first time this year. The award ceremony will take place in Berlin on June 21, 2017 in the context of the conference “5 years with the Recognition Act – once learned, never forgotten”. Federal minister for Education and Research, Johanna Wanka, as well as Presidents of the German Federation of Chambers of Commerce (DIHK) and the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH), Eric Schwitzer and Hans Peter Wollenseifer will be present at the conference.

The award will honour the examples of good practice of professional recognition and will promote the recognition of foreign professional qualifications as an important part of personnel selection and human resources development strategy. The company award will be bestowed for the following categories: “Good Practice” and “Good Ideas”. Application can be submitted by small, medium and large enterprises as well as work and staff councils. The application for the second category is also open to initiatives and networks. A short film will be produced about each of the award-winning companies. Furthermore, a brochure on promotion of professional recognition will be published, which will contain the distinguished presentations and mention all participants. Both, films and a brochure, will be integrated into the traveling exhibition, which will also open on June 21, 2017.

Applications can be submitted online between March 1 and April 31, 2017 at www.annerkenungspreis.de.
