Tips to optimize your search

  • Check if your spelling is correct, or try removing filters.
  • Use the wildcard search (* and ?): The wildcard * is flexible and can be used within as well as after the word. The * stands for any number of letters (e.g. if you type ref*, you will find refugee). Use ? as a wildcard in the same way for a single letter.
  • The + forces exact match. For example, in order to search for documents that must contain the term “master” and can contain the term “roofer”, use following search query: +master roofer.
  • Remove quotes around phrases to match each word individually: "vocational training" will match less than vocational training.
