The BQ-Portal was recognised with the United Nations Public Service Award for its contribution to transparency in the recognition of foreign vocational qualifications. The award highlights the portal’s role in supporting public administrations and improving access to the German labour market for skilled professionals.

The highest recognition rate has Austria with about 92%. Those from Greece received a positive ruling in over 80% of the cases.
