Applicants from Portugal and Spain have the highest chances of positive ruling since their recognition rate stands at about 95% in Germany. The success rate of those from Czech Republic, Austria and Greece is over 90%. Those from Hungary and Slovakia received a positive ruling in over 85% of the cases.

Only three countries have a success rate of less than 50%. However, one has to bear in mind that only states with 50 or more applications processed were taken into consideration in the statistics.

The vast majority of applications was submitted by migrants from Poland and Romania, followed by the Russian Federation. The Southern European state, Spain, and the Central European state, Austria, ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
