Further professions we selected for a detailed overview are doctors, office clerks, electronics technicians and motor vehicle mechatronics technicians. The range of countries of origin is enormous. Bosnia and Herzegovina ranked first with 1.518 applications processed.

The International and Specialized Placement (ZAV) is responsible for international services within the Federal Employment Agency (BA) and cooperates with numerous high-level national and international partners. Its work focuses on the immigration of skilled workers from abroad and the placement of specialized professional groups.

The ZAV serves as a central point of contact for questions related to living and working in Germany. Through its information and advisory services, it supports international professionals both before and after their arrival, helping them to integrate quickly and navigate everyday life in Germany.

In addition, the ZAV provides more in-depth guidance, including an assessment of individual labour market opportunities and information on migration-related topics such as visas, recognition of qualifications, and learning German.

The WebTutorial focuses in particular on the recognition of foreign qualifications.
