The most important professions for the selected countries of training 2017

The majority of recognition notifications are granted to applicants trained in Syria. Doctor is the most common profession among Syrian applicants. Further recognition notifications are issued for office clerks, dentists, pharmacists, general care nurses and IT specialists. In this section you can find the detailed statistics also for Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Iran and Serbia.

Syria

The most applications for recognition processed in 2017 were filed by the Syrians. The majority of recognition notifications were issued for doctors. A much lower number of recognition notifications concerned dentists, pharmacists and office clerks. For most professions, the number of applications is between 20 and 50.

Regarding the regulated professions such as doctors, dentists and pharmacists, more than 40% of Syrian applicants received full equivalence in 2016. The success rate for Syrian office clerks stands at 43 % and for IT  specialists at 48 %.

Romania

The majority of the recognition notifications are issued for regulated professions, especially general care nurses, followed by doctors, dentists and pharmacists.

The majority of applicants receive full equivalence. This is especially the case with regulated professions. The success rate of the cases with regulated professions with exception of  physiotherapists stands at 90 %. The recognition rate of those wishing to work as office clerk is also very high (90%) . Romanian motor vehicle mechatronics technicians recieve full equivalence in 45 % of the cases.

Poland

There is a great variance regarding the recognised professions. The regulated professionas nurses rank first, but many notifications were issued alos in non-regulated professions such as office clerks, electrical systems technicians, sellers and motor vehicle mechatronics technicians.

The recognition rate of those trained in Poland varies depending on the profession concerned. In 2017, 100 % of Polish sellers received full equivalence. The majority of those wishing to work in regulated professions such as doctors or general care nurses receive full equivalence. Furthermore, the success rate of those trained as sellers is 96,2%. However, the motor vehicle mechatronics technicians and electrical systems technicians trained in Poland were granted full equivalence in only accordingly 34 % and 51 % of the cases.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

A significant share of applicants wishing to have their foreign professional qualifications recognised in Germany were trained in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The largest number of recognition procedures concerned professions such as general care nurse. The applications for recognition as doctors and physiotherapists are also worth mentioning.

73% of applications submitted by pharmacists and electronic technicians trained in Bosnia and Herzegovina were granted full equivalence. In contrast, general care and pediatric nurses were rarely granted full equivalence.

Iran

There is no great variety in professional qualifications filed for recognition by the Iranian applicants. The majority of recognition notifications were issued for regulated professions. The focus lies on doctors. The profession of general care nurse is on the second place.

The success rate of recognition as a doctor stands at 58 %, while general care nurses recieve full equivalence far rarely.

Serbia

The majority of the recognition notifications are issuesed for regulated professions, especially general care  nurses, followed by doctors and pediatric nurses.

The success rate in the regulated professions with an exception of doctors stands at below 50 %. Among the crafts, the electronic technicians receive full equivalence in 83% of the cases.
